My 2003 Dolphin 6320 LX has dual pane windows. The rubber seal between the glass panels on the driver's window is is out of its groove. How do I remove one of the window panels to reach the rubber seal? Will a auto glass repair company possibly fix this for me? thanks for any help.

That is a far trickier question than it seems. These dual pane windows are a problem to many. That seal will probably need to be replaced with a new one that has the desiccant that keeps the window from fogging. Do a search on foggy double pane windows or window removal. Lots of info there.

I had the 2 front windows done on my 03 Dolphin done about 2 years ago. You are going to find that there is only a few places in the country that will tackle that job. If it has frames that screw together, then you may find some one to tackle it. My windows were held in by a rubber seal and the company that did mine had a heck of a time getting them back in. They even damaged the wall from trying to pull that seal in with a rope. I had mine done in Searcy Ark. I'd have them do them again if ever needed. I sold the Dolphin and went back to a Damon Challenger like the one I had before.

There is an article in the Oct 2019 Motor Home magazine that may be of some help, although the companies they highlight are in California.
Try calling them to see if they know a company near you.

I had mine fixed at the Fog Dr. in Searcy Arkansas. They did a great job and for one window it won't be that expensive.

My window was fogged and research showed that getting it out and back in would be a real challenge, not to mention a long trip to a place that did them....plus, the days spent waiting for the job to get done; all for the one window in the coach that absolutely could not stay fogged.
Ball-peen hammer and putty knife and a lot of time got the inside glass panel out, then black silicone sealer covered the shards of glass that were left in the rubber seal.

The single pane doesn't bother me a bit since I never get into really cold weather, the vision is much better since it's only one pane to look through, and it got done in a couple of days. Not only that, but there's always the chance that a repair doesn't work 100% and the fog comes back. Not so if you eliminate that pane on the inside.

Found a local auto glass company that removed the side window dual pane windows and shipped them to another glass company out of state. They took the windows apart and replaced the gas between the panes. The process was pricey but the windows look new again.

There is a company in Quartzite during RV week that will come to your campsite and take care of it. Sorry, I don't know the name.

IF it's about how much money you want to spend, then chase that rainbow, because if one of your windows un-seals, then there's a good chance that the domino effect will follow, and that is pricey, and Aggravating (the most money you pay is with TIME)

IF it's about saving money, then take out the offending interior pane and be done with it.

The difference is $thousands instead of hundreds...and the coach looks the same if somebody hasn't messed with the exterior.

I have a 2004 Dolphin 5342 and I had all of my windows repaired at RV Fog Dr. in Searcy Arkansas this past Winter. They did a great job. The RV was inside their large warehouse and warm with full hookups while it was snowing outside. I live in east Tennessee and the trip was worth it. They charged about 200 bucks per window and it took a couple days. They allowed me to stay inside a few extra days until the weather cleared for my trip home. Great people to work with.

The guy in Quartz site is Jeff Windshield Magic. he really know his stuff relative to working with problem windshield. He really stays booked up so you need reservations. Worth the drive. 800 560 8061. 541 579 1229. Jeff is very reasonable, i just got back from Quartz site, it was a five hour drive for me.

If you can't go to Jeff, make sure you get someone that specializes in rv.

Another vote for RV Fog Doctor. They did four windows for us last September and we were on the road by 2pm. Nice people, high quality and fair prices.

I ended up having to replace the Drivers and Passengers Windows on my Sunova in 2018, both would fog in warmer temps and the "Cloud" was always directly in my line of sight to the mirrors and was a safety hazard.

I ordered my windows online from RVglass.com, which is part of Duncan Systems. They were great to work with, we had some back and forth to ensure the correct replacement Windows that did involve me taking some measurements. Price was decent, and the units shipped pretty quickly. While no packaging is foolproof, the windows were about as unbreakable as you can get, I think it took me 45 min to get the glass undone from the protective bubble wrap inside the box.

The removal and install is not the most complicated job in the world, but it is a 2 person job and takes a few hours.

Noticeable difference in visibility once completed, I had no idea how bad the film was in-between the two panes until replaced. (I'd only had the coach for a year and a half at that point)

I had 2 windows repaired at Lazy Dayz in Tampa and 2 repaired at RV Fog Dr in Searcy AR. Both did an excellent job. At Lazy Dayz we camped there and they removed and reinstalled the windows right at the campsite. Fog Dr had hook ups for us. And did the work in the shop.
