The stairs on my SeaBreeze need to be replaced. I have removed all but one of the bolts holding the old stairs in place. On the last one, the nut is rusted onto the bolt. When I turn the nut, it turns the bolt.
There doesn't seem to be any way to access this bolt from the top. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you resolve it?

Not sure for National products, but I was able to gain access above the front top edge (towards front of RV) and reached back to put a wrench on it. Kind of a contortionist type of thing.

Thanks for the suggestions but, I'm not sure either will work. There doesn't appear to be enough room for the dremel and they used carriage bolts so, even if I could get to the top, I don't know how I'd hold it still so I could take the nut off.
Does anyone know if the battery tray/bottom step can be removed?

I just took a quick look at mine. The bottom step is covered with a rubber step mat. Mine is glued down so I didn't want to remove it. However, it appears if I did, I would either expose the mounting bolts, or at least a panel to access them.

I got them off! I let them hang by the one remaining bolt and used their own weight against them. The weight of the stairs hanging on that one bolt prevented it from spinning when I turned the nut.
FWIW... I pulled up that rubber step mat clyon51 mentioned and it only provided access to the two bolts closest to the curb. Not the inner one I needed.
