The ECO is part # 28 on the linked diagram.

ATWOOD MODEL GC10A-4E PARTS BREAKDOWN

It should have terminals you could measure across to see if the circuit is open or closed. It should show a closed circuit when working.

I am not experienced in checking these so I would very much appreciate step by step instructions with
There are two red lines. one seems to go to gas valve and the next one back to control board. Two brown lines marked thermostat
First one has a thermo fuse link which must be gas next brown goes to control board

So what do I do to check the ones that may affect the lack of power to my heating element?

The only thing I see on the back of heater is the RELAY that is contained within the plastic cover over the element. There is no other buttons on the back just two lugs for ground lines and white and black for element

Appreciate your patience

Sam

Just to close this thread out
The problem was with the circuit board. 12volt signal from the switch got to the board on white wire but did not come back out on yellow wire to activate the relay. Therefore relay could not turn on 120volt to the element.
New circuit board part 93851 ordered from american rv parts as recommended by Atwood personnel.
Cost 147.63 delivered
