Replacement lettering for 06 Tradewinds

Need to replace the raised chrome "Tradewinds" and "40E" decals on our 06 unit. Is there someone that makes them? Suggestions appreciated

You might try this place, see if they have done one in the past. If they have they keep them in file, they have them for my Dolphin. Or can make you some.

Many sign shops now make the vinyl lettering and graphics. Replaced decals on boat made by a sign company. Was cheaper than any boat place quoted us. On our old rexhall I had a local painter actually paint the graphics where the old decals were coming off. There is a real good painter at American RV on hwy 41 about a mile south of River Rd in N Port. safe travels... ed

We have a family owned sign shop and have suppliers to all types of lettering. The problem with the Tradewinds stuff is they are raised jel letters and are no longer available as we have recreated the font and tried to get them made. I am having the same problem on our 2006 40d. I have not given up yet but I think we are going to cut them in chrome vinyl as they will be a direct replacement and not leave faded spots. So far I have peeled off the chrome that was coming off and left the white gel part on. Not a perfect fix but it's better than all that peeled chrome.

Thanks for your input. My problem is discoloration of the chrome. The gel part can be solved by using raised 3D type lettering it is the font and size that seems to be the problem now. Like you it's the possible paint discoloration that I am concerned with now. Any additional help or hints you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Yes there are many different types of raised letters. The font used is custom National stuff that can be recreated by a graphic designer person then you can have a letter co. make them. Try Gemini Letters as they have several types of raised lettering and will custom make stuff to your specs.
