Any advise on installing in 2005/2006 dolphin or seabreeze?

Just reading about Allue from HD.... Says to not install where it can reach temps below 55 and over 85 and warranty is void if installed in RV.

I wonder if there are other similar products that don't have this issue?

I was wondering about the slides scratching the floor. Wondering if anyone had experience with that. It looks like the slide in this model rises up so thought it might not be a problem.

I had a problem with my slide scratching the laminate. Take your slide out about half way and then look under it from the inside by lifting the rug edge up to see if your slide is moving in and out on black ABS plastic skids. These were on my Tradewinds and caused me a lot of problems, so much so that I ended up redoing how my large slide moves in and out. These skids are attached to the underneath front of the slide.

On my 05 Dolphin I just took the carpet up down to the entry door. I do have to put a small rubber backed rug under the ends where the slide comes in for it to slide on.

Quick question. Was thinking of replacing throughout the RV. Did you notice the noise level increase?

Previous owner had it installed in ours. It is a textured rubber-like material that has a very realistic looking wood grain to it. It is in strips about 4"-5" wide and is laid with an overlapping pattern like a plank floor. No problem with the slides scratching it. Don't have any experience on the noise level change versus carpet.

I don't know who did the installation.

We did ours ourselves with DuPont Laminate from Home Depot. Out Tradewinds has the kitchen in the slide so it moves in and out on rollers which avoid the problems Joe and VegasDan had. Not that we were smart on that bit just lucky. Here are some pictures.

We left the carpet in the cockpit and bedroom. The total cost was a little over $700.00, of course there was no labor in that.
