Roof A/C's not working
Well not the compressors at least. The fans will turn on and run separately or at the same time. However, when the A/C function is turned on the fans quit within a few seconds.
All fuses appear to be in good shape.
All HiCurrent fuses (4) are all OK.
All other utilities are working fine.
So, I can't think of what else to check since I'm not a technician. But I can do some rudimentary tests even with a meter.
Would appreciate some thoughts, ideas or advice on how to approach the problem.
Thanks, Mark

Are you plugged into 30A or 50A? Are there other items turned on in the motorhome?

It SEEMS like the energy management system might be shedding the load when the compressors kick in.
So yes, 30 amp or 50 amp, and what else is running, is likely the next thing to check.

We're on 50 amp power. I checked all the other utilities and everything is fine. I hesitate to start taking things apart because I know a lot of things can be tied together. But I have to wonder why each A/C would have its own 20 amp breaker and then have other things wired in with it. Could all this be leading to a thermostat issue? Hoping I'm headed in the right direction.

Manufacturer and model of A/C and thermostat?
What happens when you run A/C on your generator and disconnect from shore power?

A lot of National RVs incorporate some EMS into the dual A/C control thermostat. Especially dual air conditioner systems in 30A coaches but they also used the EMS thermostat controls in 50A units too.
Thermostat model from the OP would help. A picture of the thermostat would help too.
