Running light problem
I'm new at using a forum, so please be patient with me.
I own a 2000 National Tradewinds pusher.
I am having trouble with all running lights pulsating.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dale

Do they pulsate both with the engine running and not running?

Hi and
Check grounds and alternator output. The alternator if it's happening on all 12 volt lights, if only running lights then clean and tighten all ground points

What do you mean by "pulsing"? Do you mean "Going on an off" or "less bright to more bright and back to less bright"? Rook

Remove the running lights, pull the bulbs and be certain the receptacles are clean, replace everything making sure the ground wires are reset, then test the individual lights while off the coach. If all works well, then reinstall. At least that way you will know it is not the lights themselves. I have had to clean up both my running lights several times over the past 10 years. Do you have a voltmeter on the dash that is also 'pulsing?' It sounds like a bad ground as already suggested, or a bad dash switch. If you don't have a voltmeter in your dashboard, hook a multimeter up to monitor voltage. If it doesn't show a fluctuation, then hook the meter into the light switch and see if varies there.
I don't think removing and cleaning every bulb will cure the problem, if they are all pulsing, it is something that effects all the lights, like the dash switch, ground, or wires to the battery or alternator.
