Hi all. It's been a while since I've been hear posting and reading.
We had some very heavy rain in the last month or so in Northern California. It exposed a few leaks on the Dolphin that I recently repaired. The first was a simple strip, clean and re-caulk of the Black Water vent on the roof. The second and a bit more labor intensive project, was the seam between the front cap and roof. I noticed a few drips of water falling on the dash on evening and knew I had a problem.
Short story is that I stripped the many layers of old rtv and caulking from the seam that NRV put there. Cleaned with acetone, then Alcohol and then warm water and Dawn dish soap. Re-applied caulking I bought from Camping world. I let the caulking cure for a week and then added, a strip of White Eternabond tape, 4" wide. If you haven't tried eternabond you are missing out on one exceptional product. Going to do the rear seam next week. I guaranty, I'll have no leaks on the front ever again.
Cheers

Just for general information, what Rick did was the fix at the factory. My 07 was delivered with the cap seams caulked and then covered with 4 inch Eternabond tape.

Just did the Eternabond fix myself. One week moderate-to-heavy rainfall, no leaks

I've used Eterna bond on the entire perimeter of the roof. Down both sides and over the front and back cap seams.
