Just replace shocks on 1998 Sea View. Now we are leaning bad on the passenger side, didn't lean with the old shocks. Any idea why this would happen with new shocks

Should not make a difference with new shocks.
What supports your coach chassis frame is your springs.
If you have a older Ford chassis the springs may need an added leaf spring.
Measure from you floor seam all around coach to ground and see how un level your coach is.
Passenger side may be your heavy side because of kitchen,Gen, batteries on that side.
May need added springs all four corners.
I added leaf springs on 98 Ford and AIR-LIFT bags on 99 Ford.

Shocks to not support your coach at all. They just dampen spring action. If the new shocks are the same compression dimension as the old ones then your problem is either too much weight on the low side or weak springs as someone else said.

Will the air lift bags do the same job as the springs? We were thinking of adding the air bags but do we have to get new springs as well?

NO...air lift bags are for lifting as in a pickup truck that carries a lot of weight.....they can make the body level out while carrying the weight.

I'm a little confused.......you originally said the coach was "fine" until you changed the shocks and now it's not level. Shocks have absolutely no effect on whether or not your coach is level. If it was level before new shocks then it should be level after changing the shocks..........unless there is another factor like shifting or adding weight inside the coach.

If it was unlevel before the new shocks we didnt notice it as much. I will get it on a level surface and measure all four corners and I think we need to weigh all 4 corners also. We put the monroe gas shocks on and it does ride better. Would really like to get rid of the sway.

Get rid of the sway with good shocks and a rear track bar.
One who found out, me.

Koni's FDS shocks and rear track bar (panard bar) are a must! What a difference it made in my coach's ride, handling, and feel way safer (way less lean) on turns.

Best investment I have made!

See Omey's web site under DYI and look for the one that uses a cross bar from a tractor three point hitch. I bought mine from "Tractor Supply". The only thing I "corrected" in the deminsion of the plate that bolts to the axle housing. I lengthened the plate to 12" total lenght. This allowed the bar to be parrallel (or level) from the mounting hole in the axle plate to the frame bracket mounting hole.

Shocks= $639 plus FREE shipping (shocks are heavy so I saved in shipping cost)

DYI Panard Bar= $75 spent in supplies, welding rods, steel, and 17" heim joint cross bar.
