Use Google and you'll find many sources of skylights. You will need to know the dimensions and shape of your present one. Since you didn't give measurements, I couldn't do the work for you, but there are lots of places out there that will set you up with exactly what you need.

Just did mine with a model made by EZtops. Takes about 5 days for them to make and then ship. Mine came perfect to measurements. And they advise using Eternabond tape on their models. http://www.eztopsworldwide.com

I just replaced the skylight in my 1999 Tropical. It was a curb mount like your Sea Breeze.

I replaced it with a standard 18" x 26" which fit perfectly. Here's where I got it, ther putty tape and dicor to complete the job.

https://www.rvpartsnation.com/rv-ext...ylight-sl1422/

I then took off the inside ring and got a piece of thin lexan cut at Lowes to fit the top of the trim piece. I don't remember the exact size, but just measure the hole to get the exact size needed. I then bought a tube of silicone adhesive specially made for plastic and glued the lexan to the inner plastic trim piece that attaches to the ceiling and protrudes into the hole. This assures that the double insulation feature remains and moisture (either from shower steam or rain from the outside doesn't enter the space between the roof and ceiling.

The hardest part of the job was removing the old putty tape.

Thanks Richard, that did help. I beleive that mine will be a CE 1624 from Fox Lite. I have left a message to verify dimensional fit. Mine is in the attached picture. I like that the fasteners go through the vertical return as to minimize the chance for leaks. Thanks again all.

Yup...good people over there. They had mine (CE-1624-B) bronze emerald cut curb mount in stock. It's shipping out today and I should have it in a couple of days as I'm in Indiana right next door. $69.90 + maybe $15-20 shipping!

Yep, mine looked just like that before I put the new style on it. I only paid $38.85 for mine. It will cost about $20 more if you want a flat piece of lexan on the inside. Add the price of the dicor, putty tape and silicone adhesive and the total cost to do the job yourself should cost right around $100 with freight. Of course if you want to keep it original it will cost a little more. My original inner lexan was cracked and foggy too, so I had to remove the piece that attached to the roof anyway, scraping and re-caulking - the biggest part of the job. If you don't need to replace the inner flat lexan then just replacing the outer cover will be easier as it avoids the messy and time consuming part of the job.

I also went through Fox Lite, they asked what RV I had and already knew exactly what I needed for my 02 Sea Breeze. CE 1624, shipping same day for 69.90.

The instructions from Fox Lite specify a butyl caulk when installing the new skylight. What did you use? I canít find butyl caulk in any of the stores.

Google shows quite a few hits on a search for "Butyl caulk"

After ordering a roll of butyl tape from Amazon, $13.00, I realized there was a reusable rubber gasket installed under the skylight. I put down a strip of the butyl for insurance but donít think I really needed it.
