My 2000 Dolphin shower has very little hot water. My water heater is working fine and sinks have a good supply of hot water. The supply line to the shower is also hot to the touch, so I'm thinking it is probably the valve that is not allowing the hot water through to the shower head. My problem is I don't see any way to access the shower valve to replace it. Has anyone else had similar issues, and if so, how did you correct the hot water supply?

You should be able to access the guts from the front of the valve. Is it a single handle or two handles? There are rebuild kits for both types of valves.

I would first check the inline water restricter that is built into the shower hose. Remove that and then see what you get.

It's a single handle. Thanks for the comments. I'll give that a try.

Where is the inline restricter? The only access I can find for the supply lines is below the 120 volt breaker panel. I can see about 18" of the supply lines as they come through the floor.
