Simple - Replacing the best seat in the house

Simple question - I need to replace the Sealand Toilet seat in my 2003 Dolphin LX. Sealand replacement seat is $48.00 - can you believe that. I know some of you replaced the seat for cheaper than that so any information you can provide would be really appreciated. The seat color is Bone. Thanks again.

WOW. That certainly seems pricey. How about checking RV salvage yards? I checked Ebay and they are even more $$ than you quoted.

No experience, my 14 yo seat is still in great shape. If I ever had to replace it (knowing prices) I would take specific measurements of it and then hits stores that sold toilet seats with tape measure in hand.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
Replaced ours with a "Soft Close" household model from Home Depot.

When you measure it, don't forget to also measure the distance between the bolt holes. Or you could take it in to Lowes, Home Depot or Walmart to make sure it's a perfect fit.

We just took the measurements and bought an almost exact Bone unit at either Walmart or Home Depot. Under 20$

It's a standard size home seat. I got a "no slam" one at Home Depot for around $20. in bone color.
