On my big slide the fuse blows when it is sitting out or in, but not while moving in or out. Any thoughts of what may be the problem? I connected it to the bedroom slide connection and moved it in and out several times and did not blow that fuse.

Joe

Just swap the boards. If the symptom moves to the bedroom slide then it must be the board. You have done half of it by connecting the living room slide to the bedroom controller. My guess is the board is bad.
Here is a link to the Service Manual.

If after you swap them they both work then swap the switch wires and hit the road

Hi Dick, I thought that it might be one of the two relays, but they don't look like they can be removed and replaced. We're leaving for Yuma Monday, but I'll stop in at The Gamblers and see if they have a replacement board from National. Couldn't cost too much. Or I could switch the connections like you said and see if I end up blowing a fuse again on the same board. This might be the cheap way to check it out, at least it will tell me if it's a board problem or not. Yuma's only 80 miles from here, so if I need a board I can always come back to Q, may have to anyway for the light if they haven't got it unloaded yet. We'll see if the fuse blew in the morning when I go to put the slide in. Good thing I bought a half dozen.
