Slide needs adjusting on 99 Tradewinds

We own a 1999 Tradewinds 7370. The slide drags on the carpet and does not line up on the outside of the coach. The outer trim rubs on the top front and sticks out in the rear on the bottom. Is there anyway to adjust the slide or any companies that will correct this. Thanks.

I also had a similar problem in my 99 7370. RV Renovators in Mesa, AZ jacked up the slide from the outside and inserted a shim to raise the slide slightly as it moves in and out over the carpet. The fix has worked well for the last two years.

Thanks for the response. We are planning a trip to CA, and will be going through AZ. How long did it take to do the adjustments, since its our home we will need to make arrangements to stay. Were the repairs reasonable?

I had RV Renovators work on a number of items two different times. I was traveling through the area and found them very accommodating as they will set you up to stay in the coach if it requires an overnight in their yard including giving you a key to the gate so you can go out after they close. I felt their charge for everything I had done was reasonable. I suggest you give them a call to see what they say about your problem. The web site is Rvrenovators.com.

You can do it yourself. Here is a link to the documents with the instructions.

And here is a link to all the documents that came with our 99 Tradewinds plus others I've pick up over the years.
