There has been a lot of discussion on this subject. Go to Find, enter slides, slide outs, etc.
My personal experience with the slides on my 2005 National Seabreeze taught me that are two types. The lounge/dining room slide required being manually cranked back in with a wrench applied to a square shaft accessed from the driver side basement. A slow process, I use a large adjustable wrench. Practice and don't leave home without it.
The bedroom slide can be pushed back in manually from the outside. Position of the slide electrical switch is important, I can't remember which way, on or off, is correct. You will need to fashion a locking device to keep bedroom slide in if Shear Pin breaks. Another long story.
Much info available here on IRV2. Dig around. Determine manufacturer and visit their website, there two different manufacturers. Others will be along to help out. Hang in there.
