Anyone ever replaced the seal on the bottom large slide on the Tradewinds? Mine keeps wanting to dangle on my 2001.

Joe, I've been able to re attach the seal using "Goop". Did it last summer and seems to be holding fast after hundreds of slide cycles. There seemed to be enough room to work the seal and surfaces when the slide is partially extended and still raised above its final height at the ends of the slide travel. Applies like any contact cement but seems much more tenacious. Just try to do a thorough cleaning where the Goop will go.

Marty

Joe, make sure the nylon side 6" tabs are not worn down, you can jack up the side with a couple of small jacks and some large blocks under the fiber glass, to get a peek under the side. I had to replace the 6"tabs and repair the damaged split on the fiberglass, from the broken tab,"they" used 1" dry wall screws on our 7390.Questions you can call me 203-686-1616.Tom
