On our 2004 Dolphin, under the couch, there are two cables about 4 ft. long. I suspect these are safety cables for the slideout, but can't find a place to attach them. Anyone know?? Thanks. Alleyman, 2004 Dolphin 5355, Banks Power Pack.

They are probably for manually cranking in or out of the slide out.

If you are not the original owner the cables must be a add on, have never seen a National RV with cables or slide locks. Both Power Gear and RBW slide systems used a brake on the slide motor to lock the system while in transit.
