I have a 2003 Dolphin class A & the slideouts have quit working. We have checked all we know to check & find nothing.I have been told by several people that it is a fuse, breaker, circuit board,etc...sure could use some help.

The slide controls are in the hall & are operated by key, each slide has own switch.

I don't know if it will be the same but on my 04 National Tropi Cal I had to go outside to the compartment where the power was behind a removable metal screen. In there there were two High amp circuit breakers one of which controlled the slides. This is what you would be looking for http://www.wiringproducts.com/conten...mp_breaker.jpg

Go outside to the hydraulic pump and play around with the wires while DW operates slideout switch. Special attention to the ground wire. Good luck.

I know this sounds silly, the slides operate from the chassis/starting battery, is it good?

Also, check the relays. They are in the same compartment on the bottom of the circuit board that is mounted on the side. There should be four of them with connectors going to the bottom of each two. Remove the connector on the bottom, make sure it is clean and reinstall. Also while you get the connector out of the way, you can easily remove the relays and check them out as well.

There are two fuses on that circuit board. One is a 5 amp which protects the circuit that goes to the key switch in the hallway. The 30 amp should protect the dirive motor circuit that operates the slides. In between the two is what appears to be a circuit breaker that has a purpose unknown to me. Does anyone know?

Low batts are often a cause along with loose grounds as mentioned above. I saw a post once where it was a small ground wire coming off one of the batteries. It was loose.

Just a thought, is it the same switch? Might be a bad switch or a loose wire on the back of the switch.

If both failed simultaneously I'd look at the key-switch wiring. Perhaps that's not completing the circuit. Other than that, start backtracing the current flow with a multimeter or test light.

Good luck!

My problem came back, slideouts not closing. I just went ahead and changed out the relays. I have tried it at least a dozen times each this last week and they all seem to work just fine now.

It's been awhile since anyone posted on this problem but here's what happened to me last week getting ready to leave Fl. for home.
Trying to close the slides, the door open light was on, all the doors where closed so I did a quick check behind the key panel, all looked ok, had to get on the road for the long trip home :(, so I hand cranked the slides in (not fun)
Upon returning home everything looked good (I was getting power to the slide switch control panel) so I started diconnected and bypassing the magnetic switches on the 6 compartment doors, all checked out good until I got to the last one,(propane door)(and start of circuit) BAD magnetic switch. I replaced it and all is good.
The switches are all connected together and if one fails the circuit is broke, the light come's on and no power to the key switch.
Hope this might help someone in the furture, I know I learned a lot.
