Solar Help
I have a 2003 Tradewinds diesel pusher. Love the coach and all that it offers. I am new to the big coach world and need a little help. I have a couple of small solar panels on the top of my air conditioner shrouds. The wires from them go into the shroud, then disappear into the roof under the shroud. I am trying to find out if the solar panels are working but cannot find any control unit for them. I have the document in my folder(I sorted all of them out and filed them so I could find something) but it only states that the panels are for maintaining the batteries. I don't know what the controller for this solar system would look like or where to find it. Can anyone help me on this. Also, is there a diagram for this system that I can get? The system is Solar Charge Master 7 according to the manual document.

If it is the factory install on top of the ac cover, it does not use a controller. It is probably routed directly to the battery control circuit board.
Your 2003 may use the same battery control as my Dolphin. If so look for Solar panel connection to F7/P7 on the lower side of the board.

Thank you for the diagram, that is exactly what I need to do some testing of the system to see if there is any power from the panels. I see that the diagram says page one of five. Is there a chance you would have the other four as well. I may not need them now but you never know what the future holds.
