Brian, ours are wired to the house batteries. I believe I can safely say all NRV products are wired to the house side.

It is wired to the house batterys but it doesn't put ou much. With diconect switch off it takes abought 2 weeks in full sunlight to bring the batts. up from 10v to 12.5v.

Thanks for the replies. I was guessing it was the house batteries just wanted some extra confirmation. I am now on my third panel and controller and they don't work either. I hope to install a totally different setup in the near future. As far as I can tell the factory installed systems were junk. I have talked to alot of National owners with coaches around the same year as mine and none had a working system.

I have an 05 Dolphin and when mine burned up I got a Go Power panel and its worked for two years. They are only there to maintain the charge while in storage.

My 2001 5330 has a panel..stuck to one of the a/c covers. I can't find any info on it, don't know what (color) wires go into what batteries...don't know if it even works! All I can find out is that the panel is not supposed to "charge" anything....just "maintain".
When in "storage" (for months at a time) I start the motor and the generator once every 2 or 3 weeks....and when using the motorhome, but parking it in a RV park (snowbirding) for 2-4 months, this gadget I bought last year ("Trik-L-Start") seems to do what it is advertised to do.
The motor wasn't started for 3 months. Usually, that means the 12V battery doesn't have enough punch to start the motor. This time...with Trik-L-Start...the motor fired up immedately!
((Sorry about the commercial))

Ed </div></BLOCKQUOTE> The model no. is GPDL10. I only paid 106$ for it and that included shipping. Its a direct replacment for the factory one and all I did was pull the wires up out of the roof a little solder the wires together(they have the same color code) put some heat shrink on them and push them back down in the roof. I don't have the name of the place I got it with me right now but I will get it and let you know.
