Good morning all. I thought I dump my brain while had this on my mind.
A few weeks ago Julia and were in the process of registering the Dolphin in California, from our previous registration in Arizona.
Thanks to the fine folks at NRV or Workhorse, someone sprayed black tar undercoating over the FED Emission sticker and the DMV wouldn't register it because they couldn't find the sticker. The following day, I took the dog house off......again and found the sticker on the air intake tube. I cleaned it up with Goo-Gone. Next Appointment on the 12th of Aug.
Back to the reason for the post.
I've noticed that there has been a rattling sound under the doghouse after the engine warms up. I thought it may be a idler pulley or something of that nature but turned out to be something you all might take a look at as well. Oh, we have a W24 Chassis.
The oil dipstick tube is supported by a bracket and a "U" shaped clamp. On ours, the "U" shaped clamp didn't make contact with the tube and allowed the tube to rattle around on the bracket. I removed the clamp and straightened it out a bit so when in clamped position, the clamp does make contact with the tube. Rattle gone. Pull off the dog house and look to the passenger side of the top of the engine. You'll see the tube, bracket and clamp.
Thought you all would like to know.
Cheers
