Stairs refuse to cooperate

Automatic stairs just quit working. Am getting power to the control module, but they refuse to cooperate and work. Any suggestions?

If your stairs are manufactured by Kwikee , there are three fuses in the system in various places, through out your coach , any one being bad will stop operation, then there's the possibility of a bad lock out switch.
If you go under the coach there should be a manufacturers tag near the motor and gear reduction housing.
If you don't have a users manual for the steps, and they're not Kwikee, please confirm the brand and re-post.

Had the same problem 2 times. Both were the motor. If you're handy you can change the motor only.

The magnet switch in the door jamb was my problem. If they are Kwikee there is a video on Utube that tells you how to diagnose problems without throwing parts at it .
