I have a Dolphin National RV and while driving down the road the start boost button was accidentally pushed. We have lost all of the dash lights, tail lights, and our leveling jack operations. We have checked fuses and we do not see any blown, does anyone have any insight? Please advise. Thank you!

I suspect that your house batteries were down and when you pushed the aux switch the current rushed from the engine battery into the coach system. Or you had the house master off and something like the furnace or thermostat on which tried to run the furnace blower. At any rate there is likely some sort of fuse in the line which runs from the engine battery through the aux switch into the coach system. The can be anything from a fuse link to an actual fuse or even a burn out solenoid. The connection for the stuff that is not working is probably downstream of the blown link. The exact detail will depend upon the coach design. You need a meter and get to work, or take to a RV shop.

What is the voltage reading from the alternator? Is your alternator still putting out current?

The START BOOST simply connects the house batteries in parallel with the chassis batteries so you self-jump-start.

The isolator relay, when the engine is running, does much the same thing so the alternator can charge the house.. So the only possible damage if you left the boost button in (And by the way that should not be possible) is to burn out the boost solenoid coil.. if that is, it's seperate from the isolator solenoid.

RVgoer: Did you get the problem fixed or do you have any more info on the problem? It sounds like a failure in the 12volt supply powering the isolation relay and this circuit also supplies power to many of your chassis powered systems (lights, leveling). Hopefully a fuse and not a failed wiring connection. Let us know what you find.

Targaboat is on track. I have a fuse on each side of the isolation relay which could have blown because of the initial inrush current.
