Surround Sound

My 04 Sea Breeze has surround sound speakers in the ceiling, but I never hear any sound coming out of them. I was wondering if they are suppose to be connected to the in dash radio or hooked into the TV.

My speakers are wired to the radio stock. I used a cassette tape adapter and picked the sound off the back of my TV. Check if you have RCA plugs or cords on the back of your radio. Mine has a plug for a multi-disc CD, but did not come with a CD player other than the one on the radio.

Surround sound speakers should be wired to the surround sound receiver. The TV has to be hooked up to the receiver properly to get the sound.

Dunner,

Thank you for your reply, sounds like we have the same radio set up. How does the cassette tape adapter get the sound from the TV.

There is a fixed volume jack on the back of my Samsung LED TV. It would have been much simpler if Audiovox would have supplied the RCA plugs on the back of the radio.
