Taping Into The Air System

I have seen an auxiliary air manifold on several different model coaches but never on a National. I have a 2000 Tradewinds and I would like to add a coupling somewhere so I can air the tires using the onboard compressor. Has anyone added a manifold for this purpose? If so how about some photos of the finished product.

Thanks,
Bill

Well I could not figure out how to edit my post so I had to reply to my own thread. With a little more research on the Freightliner site I found I am looking for this manifold. Anyone know its location on a Tradewinds?

Don't know about the 2000 Tradewinds but on my 2004 Tropi-Cal the air manifold was in a small compartment on the drivers side near the front of the coach which also housed the fuse box.

Same here on my 01 Tradewinds. It's in the small front compartment below the driver.

On my 2001 Tradewinds model 7390 it is inside by the Generator to the right on the firewall. Almost directly behind the headlights.

On ours it's in the compartment under the driver window. The air horns are connected to it.
