I plan within the next year or two to replace my 235/80R/22.5 Michelins, not because of wear but because of age. I have done some research and due to the narrow rims, 6.75", I am unable to find a suitable replacement other than the Michelins. The Michelins have treated me well but I would like to have some choices of price and maybe load range if possible. My dealer cautioned me to the possibility of chaffing, rubbing, or computer problems if I make a drastic change. I called several dealers, including Goodyear, and they could not provide me with any replacement tires. Has anyone with the narrow rims done the changeover with another brand and did you have any problems with ride or clearance. I did look at the spec. sheets for various brands and I was unable to find an exact match. I would appreciate any response from someone who has made a switch. Thank you, Don. P.S. I am glad we finally got the National RV forum, thanks guys.
