Hi all,

I just purchased a '04 Tropical 370 and want to pull a '09 Mercury Mariner behind it. The '09 was the first year that the Mariner could be flat towed. What kind of brakes do I need to look for? I will appreciate any advise you can give.

Thanks.

I use the M&G air brake system on my toad. Installed it myself and was easy. Proportional, foolproof and hooks up in 5 seconds. No electronics to fool with or go bad.

I tow an 08 Explorer using a SMI Air Force One brake system. It only requires me to hook up one air line plus a safety cable when hooking up. It is totally proportional and works great. Not cheap though. Check it out at AIR FORCE ONE | SMI Manufacturing Inc.

I use the Ready Brake system. Simple to install, simple to use and no big box on the floor of the toad. I have 10's of thousands of miles on it with no issue. Actually, I use the whole Ready Brake, Ready Brute tow bar system to tow the Jeep.

My coach is a bath & a half model, the main bath it's not a problem but I usually use the half and yes it is... The toilet is mounted in the corner of the room. actually if they had mounted it just a few degrees different I'd not have a problem.

I took some chain (Just folded link chain, the brass kind) and put a weight (Currently a padlock but originally a damaged lug nut) on the end of it, I open the lid, pull the chain over the lid and the weight does it's thing holding it up for me.

Works great
