It looks as if what I'm going to do is to put in a 22" flat screen in the front. I pulled the old 19" one out,45#, and the 22",15#, fits into the hole with about 1/2" inside on either side, sooo I'm going to run rubber gasket with adhesive on one side around the two sides and the top and then cut off part of the plastic base and butt that up against a piece of 1X4 that I have cut to fit the bottom of the opening. Then I'll use two angle braces and another piece of 1X4 with foam padding across the back that will screw into the side braces inside the cabinet to keep it from falling forward and these will be acessed from the side thru the padded panel that will be velcroed back in place.
I hope that that makes sense. The wood is all cut,the holes all drilled and all I need to do is to cut the front of the TV base, put velcro on it,run the gasket, install the TV and the back brace and then stain the wood and install the whole thing. I hope.
The way it's raining here today and tomorrow, over two inches here yesterday and today and more tomorrow. I'll have plenty of time to work on it,unless I drown on the way to the MH.
