Oh boy, here we go... I'll just sit back and wait till you guys get it figgered out.My question is; do you use one wire for all of them or one wire for each of them if you are getting a three way meter.

There are a total of nine wires. Three each per meter.
I just wish the seller would tell me if in the case of Boost one pound of pressure takes 1 OHM of change in the meter or 1,000 OHMs of change in the sensor. BTW I'm sure both of those numbers are extream.

I put a shunt on my house batteries that provides 75 Mill Volts to represent 300 AMPS of current in or out of the Batteries. That's very little current but a very sensitive meter so wire size really maters.

Dick is being funny again. He knows I gave two parts of ohm's law.
But back to the issue 18 gauge wire will have almost no effect on the
meter in a 40 or 50 foot run.
As to the number of wires needed their plug shows a total of 9 but the
sensors show a total of 6 but all is not lost as I have one in the mail and
will post what is needed.
And Dick I will send that communications wire down to you as soon as I get if
off the reel.

Hi Guys, Are you familiar with Silver Leaf Electronics? We've had this system on our Tradewinds for five years. It shows the diagnostics of your diesel while you are driving down the highway. It plugs in under the dash. They have various models. We have the Silverleaf PC which we use with our computer. It gives you a real level of comfort while driving down the highway. You can check it out here:

Larry and yes but they do want their money for them and they do not work on the
older Cat engines that do not provide a OBD port from what I could find out.
The scangauge D is designed to work with the Cat but only reports what the ECM
looks at.

Ragman

I really like the SilverLeafe systems. The new 330 is real attractive. They cost a good bit more but do a lot more. But until I verify that Boost and EGT are on my bus I'm gonna hold off on buying anything. I'd hate to but the 330 only to find out the coach linits the functionally to less than a Scan Gauge.

I remember back in 2006 staying at a Best Western in Las Vegas due to a minior 3 day repair they were doing on my Workhorse.

Was having the "Free" breakfast they served and chatting with another couple.. More or less the same story as the O/P only they did not get the fire out as fast.

Suggestion to the O/P (And others)
Mac the Fire Guy

It is interesting that you mention the possible higher EGT's as the tech that checked everything said that the indicator showed the air cleaner should be replaced and I figgered to get it done at Freightliner in Medford about 30 miles down the road. I reset the gauge and when I got to Medford it was reading ok and stayed that way for the whole rest of the trip, till yesterday after a FULL day of running in a heavy rain in Oregon and it showed all the way to the top.Reset last nite and with only a little rain today,it hadn't gotten too far above normal by the time we got home after a 180 mile run. It kinda looks as if these things suck in a lot of moisture and show clogged, then dry out and they're ok.??????
I have Brazels replace my entire exhaust this spring, it was full of holes in the muffler and all the flex pipe, they replaced everything, I too was lucky no fire. I have the aero muffler and they did the ecu thingy, runs like a top now.
