Last week I purchased a 1997 Tropi-Cal 235 and am starting to go through it inch by inch.

First of many questions...

Did that model come with electric stairs at the boarding door? I don't have any. but if I look under the coach, there are four bolts and a wiring harness. Looking at pictures of other 235's, I see electric steps...

So,either it was an option that didn't come with mine or a previous owner pulled them out..

Thoughts??

This coach came with a quickee step. I don't remember if it was a single or a double step.

From what I've seen in pictures of other Tropi-cal 235's it looks like a single step unit. I just want to find the right part number so that all of the screws and connections match up.

Anyone with a Tropi-Cal 235 and who has the model number of the Kwikee step would be greatly apprecaited.

Here is a link to the Step Training manual. You should find the info you need in this manual. Measure the holes in your coach and match the bolt pattern and connector in the manual to the one on your coach.

Does the switch panel by your door have a switch labled "Step"? Also look for a round magnetic switch in your door jam, if you have these two things then the job should be easy.
