Unknown switch on 2000 Tradewinds

I would like to know what the low mounted switch located between the burners and the refrigerator is?

Water heater switch

On my '98 Tradewinds, that is the switch for the optional electric heat element in the water heater.

My electric heat element in the water heater is a household switch with an indicator light right in front of the kitchen sinks. The water heater switch is shown in the manual, this switch is not. By the way it is trimmed I think it is factory.
I thought maybe it has something to do with the Central Vacuum System but it doesn't seem to have any effect on that.

I pulled the switch plate off and it is small low voltage wire maybe 28 gage and it looks like it leads to the front furnace or real close to that area.

I* took off the vent panel and traced it down It interrupts the ground side of the burner, so if the*switch is on everything is normal,*if the switch is off when the thermostat calls for heat the fan runs but the burner never lights so it is like a fan only setting.* Not sure why I would want that.
