Washer / Dryer for National Tropi-Cal

I was cleaning out drawers in my 1997 National Tropi-cal 235 and noticed that behind the drawers in the hallway, across from the bathroom that there was plumbing for a washer/dryer.

Under the cabinet, I assume that you remove the four drawers and a combo unit goes there. I saw hot water, cold water, and a drain.

My question is to other National Tropi-Cal 235 owners.. What make/model washer/dryer fits in that space? Can anyone send me a picture or two?

I'd love to install one, don't really need the drawer space and since it's already plumbed, it makes alot of sense for me..

Check out Spledide w/d at Camping World or other Rv outlets. My 03 LX came with one and I am assuming they were fitted in most National products. Our was installed instead of the hallway dresser as an opton when new.

The w/d is pricey and they are heavy. So you will give up some money and replace it with weight on your rear axle.

They do smaller loads ---but we are happy to have ours. Ten years and running.

We had a Splendide (vented model) installed in our Tradewinds behind the doors above the drawers. This puts the machine at eye level and it works well. We wouldn't be without it.
