If it's one of the white panels and the on/off at the bottom there is a tab on the right side just grab it it will pop open then you can see the switch

Nope. The two switches are side-by-side along with the red indicator on the same line at the right side.

You replace the entire red indicator. it snaps into the rectangle opening.

If I were you, I would find LED ones that fit into the same opening. I know that Alliance Coach in Wildwood Florida carry's the LED ones.

Otherwise the incandescent ones are available at most RV places locally or on the Internet.

For Black case ones:

For White case ones:

Do I assume that these are plugs and that I can just extract using pliers? Mine does not look like those at the site you recommend.

Wish I could be more help, however the "Bulb" has two prongs that go into a recepticle. Carefully pry the entire face off the unit and the installation will be in sight. The hard part is finding a replacement bulb, I can't eventough a number is on the bulb. I went thru 2 bulbs (While NRV was operating), now I just "Wing it", however the main information center has another indicator light. Several postings in the past where people have converted this to a LED bulb.

Yep, you're right, they are different. That's why when you post a problem, specifics about the problem really help out.

In that case, here is what I would do.

Remove the incandescent bulb and replace it with a white or red DC LED bulb however you will need to wire in a small resistor of about 200 ohms or so as most single LED's are only rated for 3-4 VDC.

Radio Shack carry's a variety of single LED's and will have the resistors too.

See links below.

Found a pdf that does show how to take this thing apart...but, as for the replacement indicator, that's another story. Thanks to all and for all the input.
