Question Water Pump under the floor in the middle of my SurfSide!

??What gives? My fresh water pump on my 2006 SurfSide model a29 needs some attention. But, it is under the floor of the hallway in the middle of my motorhome. There is banging noise from the pipes vibrating. I took off the panel in the wet bay compartment. I can see the pump sitting about 5ft back under the floor. My arms are not that long!!!!!
Has anyone with a model a29 worked on their water pump and if so how did you get to it???????
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I had a '99 Tradewinds and my pump was in the middle of the coach also. You need to have 8 foot arms to work on it.

My solution was to sell the coach!

If its 5 feet in that must mean its only 3ft on the other side?...any way of finding access in the curb side bays?

No access through curbside bays. Seriously considering cutting a opening in the floor right overtop of the pump. My flooring is linoleum. Then installing a trap door for future use. The spot is just outside of the shower in the hallway. So, I can just cover the area with a nice plush rug to step out of the shower onto.
Now I just need to find the time to do it!!
I sorta knew that was going to be my solution. Thanks for letting me vent!

Take a real good look at the curb side bay, most of National products had a back that could be removed.

The water pump on that unit should be screwed down just inside the water control panel you removed. It must be that the screws came out. Just find something to pull it out that side. and you will see how it is suppose to be. I have had mine out a couple of times to rebuild the valve. Hope this helps Alvin
