Bright and shiny today here in Quartzsite,AZ. Any National owners in town to "do the Q'and needing support to buy that "gotta have" item, holler. Any questions you want me to look into, same. If you are "new to the Q" and need would like some info, this is about our tenth visit. The show is now open, gotta go. Momma, where did you hide my credit cards?

Bill, Several years ago we were at Q with the Dolphin Club parked in the Beaudry Rv lot. As I recall there was a dealer across the street from Beaudry that sold National parts (switches, monitor panels etc). I'm in need of the right dash panel that holds the radio, A/C contol panel, A/C vent and radio rocker switch. It looks like fake carbon fiber. Mine is cracked. If you happen to go by there would you pick me up a business card so I can contact them?
By the way it's nice and sunny here also, and it most likely is in Camarillo also. Enjoy your stay and safe travels.

If you PM me more info, I'll check it out. I can give you a call if you'd like. I always hit the Gambler.
Quartzsite looks pretty much like it usually does. You can see there are fewer people, but the Big White Tent didn't require the Quartzsite Shuffle. Tyson Wells Sellarama is busy. Warm sun, cool breeze. Not as crowded in the camping areas, which is a plus. Lots of shiny new RVs for sale. I uderstand they are "dealing".

So help me here. I've past Quartzsite a couple times and I see coaches all over the place. What is up with this place. What makes this place a mecca? Thanks

There is no explanation for Quartzsite. It's the third largest tourist attraction in Arizona recording more than 4 million visitor nights a year. I have been comming here for 12 years and still don't know why we all congregate here.

We are in Qzite as a vendor. Lots of people and rv's. We've been here before and its crowded as usual. The aisles in the RV Show tent were in gridlock at times yesterday. Today was a little slower but still lots of people. Its been so busy that parking is a problem as usual. Outside the show not near as many rv dealers. One big vacancy, Beaudry RV, not here. La Mesa is here in full force. Dennis Dillon RV out of Boise ID is here advertising National RV liquidation. One of the vendors had a generator stolen out of the back of his pickup. They cut the security cable and stole it in broad daylight so the thieves are here as well so lock your vehicles and leave your valuables at home.....

Zogman, We have been coming to Quartzsite for ten years. We camp at La Paz Valley/road 53, which is 5 mi south of town on hwy 95. It seems a little cleaner then the more crowded areas. We usually get together with 3 to 8 other rigs and circle them around a campfire. In addition to the RV show, there are a zillion swap meets with RV gadgets, gems/minerals, beads and just about anything you can think of. There are also old roads to mines, cabins and interesting ruins. You can find two desert golf courses which are free and only require one old club. Our group usually gets together for coctails in the evening and sometimes has group dinners and usually at least one group breakfast. There is lots to do and because it is BLM land the camping is free for up to 14 days. Most of us find that five to seven days is plenty. If you pay abut $30.00 you can get a short term pass and are free to use the dump station and water supply. Many people stay the whole season for a pittance. The gung-ho inhabitants have atv's and really get into the desert rat/rock hound thing. Some years we go down to the Imperial Dam BLM area for a few days. By that time we are ready to get cleaned up and go to Yuma, Casa Grande, Tucson and Organ Pipes or where ever.

Bill, we have to be real close to each other. I am with the amateur radis group about a 1/4 mile into the Road Runner 14 day area on the road that turns off the La Paz Valley Road just after you leave Hwy. 95. Give me a call on the cell at 360-49-9910

Whoa, Bob, You're short a digit there. Unless this is Ham code. We're down the road with 3 MHs and a 5th wheel. White jeep that says "life is good". Well, now a brown Jeep. I'll put a red safety cone out. Coffee's on.
