I know, this is probably another "new owner" dumb question, but... what is the easiest way to identify the make of my slides in our 2004 Dolphin 3555?? The motor doesn't read anything that sounds familiar to any of the brands I have heard mention on the forums. I think, National used RGW(?) and power Gear. Not sure . Thanks for any feedback on help.

My coach has a Power Gear drive for the living room and a RBW/Al-Ko in the bedroom. Beware the bedroom slide if it has a bronze worm gear. Mine failed with the gear teeth wearing and finally breaking off until it would not drive the slide any more. The replacement unit is a direct drive, which I had to install for $700+. It failed in two months. The weak link appeared to be the shaft key. Another $500 and that unit is rebuilt and I am keeping my fingers crossed. For such a simple task, that bedroom slide unit really was poorly spec'ed and the consumer pays the price for lousy design and materials.
