I've used AAA plus RV for the past 10 years or so, and been fortunate to only need them once. I know there are other players - Good Sam, Allstate/KOA, etc. Getting ready to renew, but thought I'd check to see what some of you full-timers might recommend?

I am not a fulltimer but I did just use coach net this past weekend and they were VERY efficient helpfull and Quick.they called back to see if we were ok and had a service truck there in about 40 min. which I thought was great considering we were 40 miles from the nearest town. I have had and used AAA but think Coach Net is better.

I second that. Used them twice the first year, would have cost me over $900. Very nice, helpful people, and geared toward motorhomes specifically.

Good Sam... They went above and beyond the call of duty. I'll never leave home without them

We also have the AAA RV service. They have been very helpful when required. Also supply Trip Tiks, traveller's cheques, medical insurance, discounts to various sites, etc. all part of membership.
Stick with them.

I have Coachnet and I have used them once for my MH and 3 times for my cars. They have come through each time. I am quite pleased.

Watch out with "AAA Plus RV" as it IS NOT honored in some areas of Oregon ...and it could be the whole state. I have heard of other regions AAA is not honored ...strictly speaking of RV towing. Use the search feature here in iRV2 and that may give more details. This subject came up a few years ago and several times since.

Coach-Net....HANDS UP! From a water leak in Florida (set me up with the nearest National RV dealer first thing Monday morning) to a tire blowout east of El Paso...great operators, VERY reasonable time factors (back on the road within 3 hours of the blowout phone call) and good service by all.

BTW...I have the "Gold" plan. The cheapest of the 3 plans offered...that seems to serve my needs.

We have GOOD SAM. Never had to use them in 5 years of fulltiming. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope I don't need them for another 5.

Happy Trails! Jim

Had to use AAA last month for a tire blow out on brothers Rv. Brother had a spare on board.

AAA said it would be 2 3/4 hours before they could get out to us. We said forget it and drove to a tire depot down the road.

I have good sam but have not had to use them. I guess it comes down to who is the biggest as far as how quick they can respond.
