Windshield Fan Question

The little 6-8 inch fans in the corner of my windshield face the windshield. I asked the original owner why and he said they came that way. On the quest this week with a friend to find her “new to her“ Class A I noticed something that I had wondered about for the 5 years. About half to the RV’s had the fans facing the driver/passenger the other half faced the windshield. So I pulled out my “05 Brochure and the advertising photos show them facing the people. Is there a correct direction? Why direct the air to the windshield? As you can tell I never use them but now I might …..

I have the 2003 5320 Dolphin specs and all it says is "Overhead Dash Fans" possibly for defrosting the windshield? If you can turn them why not let the wind in your hair.

While using my 2004 Itasca Suncruiser, I use my fans both ways. As a cockpit cooling fan on warm days. And on cool mornings when the windshield is fogged up from warm moist breathing in the night, I face the fans toward the windshield to defog the windshield.

They are easy to turn and face the direction you want the breeze.
