Windshield tinting ?

How many of you have had the upper part of the w/s and drivers side windows tinted? Have you done it yourself or had it done? Yes,I do have those cool w/s visors, but they're a pain in the neck to adjust while driving, you know, setting the cruise control and getting out from behind the wheel, so I'm thinking about the upper 1/2 with a variable darkness tint.

We've always had the upper part of the windshield tinted. Usually about 16-18 inchs. We installed MCD shaades and have since removed half of the tinting. MCD are THE best sunvisors peroid. These are the ones that go from side to side one peice. I consider this a safety feature as much as a night shade.

I had my DS, PS and front 16 inches windshield with tint. Cost about $300 but it was a lot of work at least on the Entegra. He had to heat the windshield tint to make it a tight fit. The company came to me as well.
Worked great this summer, the sun does't beat on the driver or passenger and the coach will stay cooler going down the road. Gives a little privacy as well.

I lower my electric shade to shield the windshield. I had the side windows tinted and it works great. Only problem is that it gives a mirror effect which makes night / dark driving hazardous. I don't drive at night but have left a few CG's before sunrise.

The top of my windshield came factory tinted and I use the supplied electric sun visors for the front. The drivers side was another matter. I was never happy with the factory visor and still don't understand why the side window is so tall. I used hook and loop tape to install a piece of 90% sun screen to the top section of the window and it has helped considerably.
