Windshield wiper arm broken...

Hi,

2000 Seaview, Ford chassis. Are the windshield wiper arms on this coach from Ford? The driver side assembly, the adjustable arm broke where the nut goes through it. I am thinking I may JB weld it, I have about 1/2 inch of play from the arm to where it goes in to the assembly (where it screws in). Would that be enough?

Also, does anyone know if that arm can be replaced or do I have to buy the entire assembly?

I am leaving in 2 days so I tried a repair. I fabricated a metal plate that will replace the small one that 2 screws go through it, the one I made is longer so it will overlap the broken piece and sandwich it between the newly fabricated piece and windshield arm. To ensure it doesn't move, I apllied JB weld throughout these pieces, and it will have 3 days of cure time.

The JB weld seems very well applied and strong, I wil see how that goes, but will still call to get the price, unfortunatley it seems that I will need the entire arm assembly replaced if this didn't work.
