We are going to store our 97 Dolphin for about 4 months. Here in Wash. it will be below freezing in a few week. Already winterized with rv anti freeze and drained everything. My question is being inside should we keep it pluged in or switch to storage on the panel ? Thanks for any info. PS we are trying the Red Max wax system listed on some of the boards will report later

This is what I do:
Winterize
Keep it outside
Plug it in every week (switch to ON)
Repeat above
After a few days (unplug and switch on STORAGE)
Drive it ONCE a month or so for about 30 miles (during nice and dry road condition)
During that trip let the GEN run and shut-OFF after 1 hour

That way we are ready to go anywhere, even in winter.

Living here in the beautiful, but rainey part of God's country,I leave it plugged in,the fresh water system hooked up unless it looks as if it's gonna freeze, the slides in and the jacks down.I am ready to go at almost a moments notice and all I have to do is to put a few clothes in and food.If it looks as if it's gonna freeze,it only takes a bit to drain the fresh sustem, unhook the water and hook up the electric heater.I don't run the furnace as it tends to cause condesation in the MH.

If you decide to leave it plugged in, check the level in your batteries every 4 weeks or so. Dont know what they were installing in '97, but in 2000 they were installing good 3 stage charger/ converters that are very easy on your batteries !
