winterizing my 2000 tropical

I just purchased a 36 foot tropical with 19000 original miles .There is not an owners manual with it. What steps do i need to winterize the unit and does anyone have any idea where i might obtain an owners manual.

Thanks,

I can't help with the manual , but I'll try to walk you through the winterizeing.
Questions .
Ever winterize an RV before ? I need to know if you have any basic knowledge here.
Do you have an air compressor ? couple of different methods air is a big help for the real cold zones.
Have you checked the unit for low point water drains ?
Factory installed hot water tank by-pass ? Brand of water heater ?
I'm on the road for the next 2 days but I can get back with a full run through on the week-end.

Google your MH online for a manual. Thats where I got mine for the MH and my boat. I live in the PNW so we don't get much freezing weather. I am able to just drain and blow out the lines and I put a small heater inside when it gets below 30 and open the cabnets and drawers and put the heater on 50 and let it go. I have all my underbelly inclosed so I'm lucky. If I know I'm going to have a long cold spell I turn the heater up and check it twice a day.

Dean, join the National RV group on Yahoo. You will find what your looking for and more. If you don't find what you are looking for ask the members, someone will get back to you. There are a lot of knowledgeable members, some that worked for National.
