Quick solution.
Been looking for a way to get my 110 from shore back thru the inverter after popping the breaker at tha inverter. Reset the breaker at the inverter and still hooked to shore power ,I had no 110VAC when inverter off.
Searched all over and got lotsa answers but still no 110vac thru inverter while hooked to shore power.

Finally got out the book again and after readong a little bit, I decided to go out and shut off the shore 50amp breaker for a bit and turn it back on. Well guess what? It reset to be OK . 110vac back thru inverter . Yippeee.
I could have liveed with this as has been a couple weeks tracing down the problem. Howerver, after a nite of 20 ish degree temps., the heat pumps were overriden by the furnace and that uses 12vdc and this am I had lodc even though still hooked to shore(only 2 batts.)

A simple solution to a lota electrical problems is to just cycle thru and maybe it will reset.
Great to have a forum like this. Bob.

Did they ever say what was wrong with yours?
I am having trouble with mine (same) where the remote doesn't work inside. Moved it to the xantrex and plugged in with short cord, it worked. Pretty sure the wiring to the inside is bad - cleaned the contacts on plug - didn't help and have no idea on how to run a new phone line.

Tufftj: Sorry to hear about your inverter issues. I didn't get mine old one fixed, just purchased a refurbished one and it works great. Can't help with the phone line but I too feel like this may be your problem. Good Luck. BobHer
