does anyone out there know what auto maker (year and model) used the headlight assembly for the 05 - 07 phaeton. mine were sprayed with armor coat when they were building my rig which is a spray on chip protector that absolutely did not work as evident by the chips on the nose of my rig. I did go to red bay (as most of us have at one time or another). their solution was to wet sand and compound the lenses which cleared the up temporarily. now 4.5 years later the headlights are junk. i have reconditioned them myself but again its temporary tiffin wants over 300 dollars a piece. they did offer them to me at a discount 235 dollars ea. which is still a little pricey. my thought is to search local salvege yards once i figure out what vehicle they were initially used on. any help would be appreciated

Pull out one of the lenses and check for any model numbers. on my previous coach the numbers were on the bottom edge of the lens. Then go on line or to NAPA and see if you can cross reference the numbers. or take a picture of the both of the lenses and go to you local scrap (junk) yard and let them see if the reconize the numbers. i was quoted over 200 bucks each for tail light replacements. I bought them both for 25 bucks. They came off a Ford Van. I
t may take a little work but the lights can be identified one way or another.

Call Tiffin's parts department and get the vendor part number. They bought most of them from ABC Marketing. They should be able to give you their telephone number. They are very helpful.I had their number but can't put my hands on it right now. Ray
