I am very interested in the 1.5 bath models. Does anyone know of any major problems with them? This will be my first MH. Thanks

Have a friend with a Allegro Bus with bath and half. One possible problem is the rear toilet. It uses a maserator to pump e toilet contents up to the holding tank. If this pump fails oris plugged this could've a messy issue to fix.

Have to do this again (((*@)#!*@!) MCdonalds time out) I live in a bath and a half model.. On mine there are two gray tanks (more work to dump) and the rear bath (Main bath) has a "Macerator" type toilet (Sometimes called a Vacuum Toilet) it uses about 4x the water when my wife flushes that I use with the Sea Land in the half.

That said.. Some folks do not use enough water when flushing causing issues with ye-old-black tank.. I don't have that problem.

We have the bath 1/2 and would not do with out, larger rear bath for wife and 1/2 bath has ample room also.
Both Sealand toilets are straight drop into tanks and each has drain in same dump location.
Both tanks have the spray wash for cleanout of tanks.
Mechanical toilets will have problems get toilet without that option.

I use a macerator (Sani-Con) to dump my tanks. As mentioned above, I use plenty of water when dumping the black tank. From what I've read on another forum there doesn't seem to be any more problems with the macerator toilets than with the electric or manual dump. Any of them is a PITA if they don't work. Let's face it, the ones at home are no bundle of joy if they plug up, run over, leak, or otherwise malfunction. And they generally require some new parts be installed every once in awhile.

We have a 40QBH and the secret is to start with sufficient water in the bowl prior to use. We have not had any issues.
