12v disconnect switc

Good morning I have a 2017 Open Road (gas) my 12v battery disconnect switch does not seem to be working. Turning it off and on I feel no detention on the switch no auditable sound etc. Can someone give me suggestion on how to test the switch?

Thank you.

Trace your battery + cable - there is probably a heavy duty can type relay located near the battery. That is what should make noise when you toggle the switch. Maybe you can hear the relay from the switch location and maybe you need a helper to listen or push the button.

You can also use a voltmeter to check the two big lugs on the relay. Look for changes.

The "salesman" switch operates a relay. The question is where is it located. Call Tiffin Service and ask them but I'm guessing electrical bay under the driver's seat. It will likely be one of the plug in types since it is only switching a part of the 12V power.

I would think that if testing to see if it was working you would try to start the unit with the switch in both positions and that will tell if it works properly or not.

Do the interior lights come on with their switch when the "12v battery disconnect switch" is in either position?
