12v power not making it to one of the two rear elec slide controllers

2014 Tiffin Phaeton 36gh. One of the two rear electric slides stopped working recently. I tested the 12v power and ground lines to both controllers with a multimeter.. the one not working is not getting 12v power. As a workaround I’ve been swapping the power and ground from the good controller to the other one in order to get both slides in and out but it’s getting annoying. Could I just patch in to the 12v on the good controllers wire and provide power to both controllers as a more permanent fix?

I’m also open to troubleshooting the 12v wire issue. I’m not sure where to trace the run to. The circuit breakers are fine and I even swapped the 25A breaker/fuse with the good slide to rule that out. No deal.

Thanks for the help!

If the slide works when you swap wires with the other controller, replace the bad controller. The wiring for the slide controllers and slide power, runs along the outer wall behind the cabinets, then through a flex conduit by the rear wall (look under the washer/dryer), and then across the bottom of closet to the DC breaker panel (the push buttons underneath the A/C breakers). Check the breaker panel to make sure you are getting power through the breaker.

It’s not the controller, the LEDs do not light up on it st all when running on the dead 12v line. I checked all that wiring and it looks fine. How do I check the power at the breaker box?
