12VDC Disconnect Issues

Hey Guys,

Just bought my first RV last week, a 2006 Tiffin Allegro 32BA on a workhorse chassis. Wife and I got back from out first trip last night and everything was working fine. I shut everything off, and turned off the 12V disconnect switch.

This morning we went out to clean it up before we put it into storage, and I can't get any of the 12VDC house systems to work. Batteries have a full charge, I checked voltage to and from the converter and solenoid and everything checks out ok. I checked the fuses and breakers underneath the fridge and they are all on and good to go. I checked the switch itself and it is working properly. The solenoid clicks when the switch is held on.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if anyone knows of any fuses that I might not know about. I am a communications electrician so I am a fairly decent electrician/technician and I have troubleshot the entire system as I know it, so I am really hoping that there is some fuse that I just don't know about. Hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks for the assist!

-Steve

Update: Solenoid started clacking more than once while holding down the switch. I think it might be a bad solenoid after all. Still hope to hear any input that anyone may have though =)

I would suspect the solenoid, had one on a previous coach that had corrosion on the terminals , it would not make a good connection.
