2000 Tiffin Allegro Bus Purchase

I am looking at a 2000 Tiffin Allegro Bus. Seller has done extensive work including new fiberglass roof and full paint job with several coats of sealer. New airbags, refrigerator and microwave. Unit was purchased new by owner.

Unit has 360 cummins with allison 6 speed on freightliner chassis. I am asking for advice on issues to be concerned with on this unit. I understand that a 20 yr old unit will have problems, but are there inherent design problems that would cause concerns?

This will be my first purchase and plan on traveling the lower 48 in retirement.

I have a 2000 bus m35 with the cummins 300 I cannot think of any design problems off hand that would cause you trouble. While they are not the fanciest units built they were well built as far as workmanship.Mine has the pick it up and lay it down step cover and i wish it was air operated but mine never fails unless my back is out ,They really are pretty good units!
