2000 to 2001 M35 RP allegro bus owner question

My question is my 2001 35 foot allegro bus DP has 2 vehicle data plates one in the owners book and one next to the drivers door. All the information is the same except tire size. The owners manual data plate issued by Freightliner says the tire size should be 235/80/22.5, However the data plate by drivers door says Tires should be 255/80/22.5. Since I need new tires which size do I get? the previous owner put on the 235/80/22.5 If I go with the 255/80/22.5 will I have a problem with the spacing between the dual wheels? Any owners running the 255/80/22.5 on their 2000 to 2001 Allegro bus?

No experience with your specifics. However, any tire shop will know of any spacing issues with the 255s. They must also be aware of the turning angle in the front. It is possible the 255 may hit the fenders in a tight turn. Not likely with only 20mm difference, but possible. Perhaps why the coach mfg says 235. I would be more concerned with load range, but would also go with the 255 if there were no clearence problems.
